James has been an experienced civil litigator in many mediations over the last 15 years. He is passionate about alternative dispute resolution and believes that often the best outcomes are those where all parties feel like they have been listened to and have a hand in reaching an acceptable outcome. Through his breadth of experience, James has attained accreditation as an Associate Member of the Arbitrators’ and Mediators Institute of New Zealand. By his very nature, James is a calm and supportive individual who looks forward to assisting individuals and businesses in timely and cost-effective conflict resolution.
MEDIATION SERVICES
Civil litigation is varied, and James’ involvement in this area of law puts him in good stead to meditate on a wide variety of disputes, whether big or small, including general commercial issues, property, construction, trusts and estates, weathertightness, and sports issues.
James is based in Auckland. However, he is happy to travel within New Zealand and undertake mediation virtually where necessary. James charges a fixed fee for a day of mediation, including his preparatory work and preliminary steps with the parties. James does not charge for his travel or accommodation expenses.
